Slumdog millionaire

Download the Golden Globe award winning Slumdog Millionaire songs composed by A R Rahman

Director Danny Boyle wanted to include MIA's Paper Planes from early on in production on the score, which appears along with an original track Rahman composed, "O...Saya," featuring the artist. M.I.A., who Rahman described as a "powerhouse" gave brief film notes on some scenes to Boyle upon request during editing. Rahman's score won a 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score. Song Aaja Aaja was composed for film Yuvraj by A R Rahman and lyricist Gulzar but was not used for that and given to Danny Boyle by the movie producer Subhash Ghai who also gave rights to Choli Ke Peeche from his film Khalnayak to be remade as Ringa Ringa.

Do you really think ARR would
have bagged this coveted award had this movie been by any other
Indian Flim Maker, a big no.
Danny Boyle sure was a good filmmaker who did some good movies like "Trainspotting" which truly deserves appreciation.I dont say SDM is a bad movie, but its a good movie neither. The first half of the movie was good with great screenplay and superb performances from the Child actors. But after
that the movie runs in complete
Bollywood style which completely
ruined this movie for me.
And though i dont have any regrets
about ARR winning this trophy
but this movie wasnt anwwhere
closer to ARR's earlier works
like Roja, Dilse, Taal,Lagaan
and many more which are Oscar worthy as well. However i am glad
ARR got this award for which
all of us should be proud.

@pavan..ARR's talent is larger than golden globe or even oscars...definitely many of his previous works are better than SDM n deserve oscars...but im happy that atleast now..his talent is honoured...JAI HO ARR!!!
